Musicians FAQ:

What type of religious music do you play?
You name it, we'll play it if it's religious. Give us rock, give us rap, give us club, hip-hop or country. Religious music does not have to contain an organ and does not have to have an acoustic guitar. Just as everyone prays to God differently, musicians will give their musical prayer to God in their own unique way. It doesn't have to be only praise songs. They can be struggles, conflicts, questions. Music is an expression of our state of mind. Religious music is an expression of our state of soul.
Does my music have to be in english?
Nope. You can write and record your music in any language and we'll play it. We will of course have to verify its content :-).
Do you charge money to play my music?
Nope. We don't charge a plug nickle. The only payment is hopefully you get ispired to write and record more music so that we
Can I sell my music through NCR?
Of course you can. If you are interested in selling your music through our store, please contact us. We'll talk about the options so both parties benefit.
Why should I sell my music through you guys. I can make more per CD if I sell it on my own
True, but hopefully someone listening to NCR will hear a song they like and really want to buy it. That's where we are just a click away. Otherwise, they will have to wait to hear you in concert or through word-of-mouth.
Do I have to sell my music as MP3 downloads? Can't I just sell my CD?
MP3 downloads is not at all required. It simply gives buyers more options. If you would like to sell just your CD, that is easy to set up. But, MP3's are fast becomming a standard in music listening and could significantly help to get your stuff out there and boost sales.
Boost Sales? Yeah, but what about piracy.
Yes, there is a chance that someone could distribute your music throughout the entire planet and you wouldn't earn a cent. But, MP3.com became such a huge success because anyone interested in non-pop music could download musician's music for free and if they liked it, they could purchase it. A ton of musicians benefitted because they had world-wide listeners. Most people will pay for their music if it is cheap and there aren't any strings attached.
Does NCR own the rights to my music if they are selling it?
Absolutely not. We are simply a portal to sell your music. You wrote it. You own it. Plain and simple.
